Analogue products from Solartron Metrology
An LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) and Half Bridge transducer works by the movement of a core within a coil creating an electrical signal. The distance moved can then be determined by relating the electrical signal to the calibration data. Resolution is infinite, and the design is inherently reliable and maintenance-free.
Solartron analogue gauging probes incorporate a precision linear bearing, which gives exceptional reliability. They are used wherever fast, high accuracy measurement is required. Many versions are available, with choices of sensitivity, tip force and stroke lengths.
