The new 1mm flexure gauge from Solartron Metrology is a precision device conceived as a solution to users seeking enhanced levels of measurement repeatability and minimum hysteresis.  Flexures provide a noticeable improvement in position repeatability (<0.1 micron) over traditional bearing guided probes.

The new flexure gauge delivers a measurement range of 1mm microns and is especially suited in applications where the use of axial measuring probes is not possible such as in small slot or diameter gauging applications.  It is capable of a long operating life (more than 25 million cycles) and is provided with a tip offset tool that enables adjustments for most measuring situations.

The digital 1mm flexure gauge features a spring return mechanism and stops to prevent over-range operation.  It is compatible with Solartron's Orbit network and can be used in measurements where the required measurement resolution is down to a few nanometres.
